https://libguides.northampton.ac.uk/learntech/sage-ultra/assignment-submission/audiovideoImportantThe University of Northampton requires all video and audio recordings for assessment to be first uploaded to the MyMedia video server before submission in NILE, whether you create your video using Kaltura Capture, PowerPoint or your mobile device.
Video or audio files can be uploaded through the use of Kaltura Capture, by navigating on your laptop or mobile browser to mymedia.northampton.ac.uk and selecting Add New or by using the Add New option in the Kaltura submission plug-in for NILE.
If these digital technologies are unfamiliar to you, we strongly recommend you practice the steps ahead of any deadline. You can use this guide to learn how to use Kaltura Capture or add content to MyMedia. You can also ask your tutor to set up a test submission point for your class to allow you to practice the submission process.
If you have followed our guidance and experience a technical issue, you can log a support request with our team. However, this service is UK office hours and an immediate response is not guaranteed. Technical support should be requested before your deadline or you risk failing your assessment.
Reminder:
- Do not upload video or audio files as attachments to your NILE submission point.
- Do not use the Share option as your videos are Private and will not be visible to tutors.
- Do not use Kaltura Capture to submit the work of another student.
